Welcome to St. Vincent, Our Paradise

What makes St. Vincent & the Grenadines so special? Our land is untouched, and our people have embraced the motto of “slowing down.”

When you go to other Caribbean islands, you can get overwhelmed by other tourists and tourist attractions, but in St. Vincent you get authenticity. You get remote beaches, and unmatched views everywhere you turn.

There are so many things that have become a part of our culture, and that you can expect when visiting Bequia and our mainland, St. Vincent.

Dance. Dance. Dance!

There’s never a shortage of gatherings. Sure, you’ll find a few parties to check out, but you’ll find locals catching a road vibe. Find a tree, grab a stool, a joint and chill.  You just “buss a lime”.  Liming is so natural you won’t even know that you just did it.

Then comes the Vincy Carnival Season, derived from the Catholic festivals, which we have changed to a celebration of African Caribbean parties and parades. It’s a time of vibrancy, being drenched in sun, rain, and fun. You’ll find revelers hitting the road in early July for Vincy Mas.

Diving and Spearfishing

We are one with the water! The country thrives on its fishermen, and whalers in Bequia, who have, for generations continued on traditions.

There are fish fry’s in villages like Barrouille where the sea is synonymous with existence. At Hypnosis Haus, our concierge is also happy to connect you with local tours, to visit the Layou Wall, Questelles Beach, and other famous dive sites.

Hiking and Walking Rum Tours

Hike the Caribbean’s largest volcano, La Soufriere’.  At 1,288 miles high, this volcano is like the ice cap that sunk the Titanic, small appearance but a big bite. Tours and hikes have slowly returned back to normal after an eruption in 2021, where a local guide would be happy to take you to its peak.

Or you can choose from many other options that comes with our mountainous terrain. Walk through the Vermont Nature Trails and Rainforest to visit the Parrot Lookout, take a slow stroll through the Botanical Gardens, or admire the Montreal Gardens.

Yacht Tours, Bus Tours, Fishing trips, and Island Hopping!

With 32 islands in our beautiful and green Archipelago, each new island is just a stone’s throw away.  Enjoy different perspectives, swim with turtles, or just go to your own private beach for the day.  The land is ours, but the land is yours, too.

With all that said, book the trip! Yes, you! You need to come to St. Vincent and see for yourself. Learn more about staying at Hypnosis Haus, where we’ll help you plan your trip, and provide on-site amenities during your stay.
